The CODEC02 is a high-performance mono 16-bit Audio CODEC. The A/D and D/A use sigma-delta technique. Analog signal input of the CODEC02 is single-ended, including line in and microphone in, and the microphone input is supported by both internal and external microphone bias circuit. The output of the CODEC02 is differential, and the internal headphone amplifier is capable of driving a 16 з load. Side tone output is provided, and the magnitude of the side tone signal is half of the DAC's output. Low power consumption and lexible power management allow selective shutdown of codec functions, thus extending the battery life.
